Nik Hartmann was born in 1972 and grew up on Lake Zug. From 2003 to 2020, he worked for Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) – initially as an author and copywriter and from 2005 as a presenter. On SRF 1, he hosted major entertainment formats such as “SRF bi de Lüt – Live”, “Wunderland” and “Gipfelstürmer”. Nik Hartmann has been known throughout Switzerland since his involvement in the SRF 2 and Radio SRF3 fundraising campaign “Jeder Rappen zählt”. From 2016 to 2018, he also toured the country with his first solo stage program “Nik Hartmann – live” and also provided the best entertainment on stage. In 2019, he undertook the longest hike of his life to date: the Via Alpina. Over 28 adventurous days, Hartmann hiked from Vaduz to Montreux with his team and his dog Oshkosh.

In 2020, he announced his move to CH Media. In 2025, he returned to SRF and hosted the hit show “Happy Day”.

The narrator role in the ROCKY HORROR SHOW is a dream coming true for him: “The narrator role is an absolute classic. That’s why I didn’t hesitate for a second when the request came in. I love musicals! And I’m aware that the narrator is anything but an audience favorite, something new for me (laughs). I have to put on the thick skin! But I’m really looking forward to getting a taste of musical theater and being part of the ensemble.”
